Three Lobed Recordings was established in late summer 2000 with the singular purpose of aiding in the presentation and distribution of adventurous, experimental music. The label’s collective output is closely curated with each artist so as to help them realize their vision for any particular release. This close attention to detail is shown through high-quality audio media such as 180 gram vinyl, highly individualized packaging such as intricate silkscreened covers, letterpress covers or high end old style print goods and - where appropriate - bonus materials. Three Lobed strongly believes that a manufactured album is an all-encompassing experience that provides a listener with artistic engagement on both an audio and visual level. All of the label’s artistic and executive decisions are approved by a feline triumvirate.
